Dry Aging meat is a well established tradition used to produce the most unique taste and Tenderness. We dry age our meat in cabinets for up to 21 days to achieve a premium cut.

Saldanha Bay has been recognized as a prime location for oyster culture. Its waters are rich in plankton and unpolluted tides. Our oysters are uniquely sweet and full.

We are a solution driven business assisting in supply which solves day to day challenges as well as creating a far more efficient way of working for the Chef or end user. We like to think outside of the box while keeping compliant in both Health & Safety and statutory regulations.

Classically French trained chef Kerry-Ann Manton is founder of Gourmet Gecko Fine Foods, the Eastern Cape Chefs Forum and The Chef Group (Including The Larder, Hamper and Pass).  After working as a Chef & Manager in London and around the UK since 2001 in some of the most prestigious establishments in the world, she acquired a deep passion for flavoursome food and quality ingredients.

Kerry-Ann has worked for a leading fine food specialist company in London, distributing premium foods to discerning customers around the UK. Her knowledge around Classical and Molecular technique has allowed her opportunity to demonstrate and command audiences of Master Chef level. Chef Demonstrations & Menu Development was the order of the day and key clients Kerry-Ann looked after ranked amongst the very talented Roux brothers, Phil Howard, Jason Atherton as well as Corporate portfolio’s such as Compass UK, Sodexo & Baxter Story to name a few. Kerry-Ann was also key negotiator & leader in successfully delivering premium product to world staged events such as Wimbledon, Royal Ascot, Henley, Chelsea Flower Show and many others. Leaving the business in 2017 as Head of Sales after looking after both Corporate and Independent portfolios, she has a wealth of knowledge around food distribution, sourcing and customer service.

Now settled in the wonderful city of Port Elizabeth, South Africa her passion for sourcing, discovering and cooking world class ingredients has not waned but has been re-launched into Gourmet Gecko. As a business, Gourmet Gecko Fine Foods is dedicated and committed to expanding & supporting the restaurant, hotel and game reserve offering in the Eastern Cape as well as providing training and development to the Industry. The Chefs Group works on product development, manufacturing, distribution, bespoke catering and export.
Kerry-Ann - When not running the company you will find Kerry-Ann in the place she loves the most... the kitchen. Currently you will find her developing new products, menu development with customers & expanding our "ghost kitchen" and retail range.

Jade - Usually the first person you will be in contact with at Gourmet Gecko. She has been with our company since January 2020. Her knowledge of what's in stock and our product range makes her the number one person to speak to. Jade has just recently been promoted to Assistant Manager.

Shireen - The newest member of our team and she could not have started any sooner. Shireen handles all our creditors and debtors. She is a key member already of the team

Gladys - Gladys has been with the company since conception, she is our general assistant and up and coming Chef who loves to be in the kitchen learning and cooking.

Vinolia - Vinolia keeps us all on our toes and makes sure the kitchens, packing areas and stock rooms are spotless!

Godfrey - The man making sure all your deliveries make it to you safely.
